I'm center left too and I agree with Joe. It's difficult to have a conversation if people are lobbing pejorative labels back and forth. Those promoting gender affirming care believe they're helping troubled young people. But it's dangerous when they call others who are questioning the practice transphobic.

The best video I've seen in a LONG time!! I'm a gay man, been married to the same person for 23 years, and I guess I THOUGHT I was a liberal. I have always had trans friends since I was a kid. I also was an "androgynous" teenage NYC club kid in the 90s. I dressed in drag for the first time for Halloween as Madonna when I was 12, and continued to do so until about 15 years ago. BUT... I agree with Joe Rogan. Don't mess with kids like this. It is an extremism on the left that many of us Liberals do not support. I don't agree with the right or the left using children as a pawn for politics. We all know the difference between right and wrong and it has nothing to do with right or left. Both sides are aware that we are being divided, common sense and decency is our only hope for middle ground. Meanwhile, protect the children from extremism on both sides, that includes accusing or turning a blind eye to child abuse on BOTH sides. Fight the real enemy.

I’m a republican and I love Joe rogan. I have liberal friends and family who hate Joe bc they think he’s hard right but I always tell them how wrong they are 😂 Joe is just a lot more logical than more leftists

People that usually take these stances never research what these procedures actually do and look like. They are horriffic and absolutley horrific to recover from. Lots of psychological damage from the surgeries especially if they dont turn out the way they wanted. Its an awful practice

There are so many people who support transitioning kids but are horrified when they learn what exactly goes on in order to do that. Like Joe said, the words used are non threatening and sound innocent enough. I’ve seen how disturbed they get when they learn the side affects the medication is and that puberty is stopped in it’s tracks and the toll it takes on their bodies. This is the problem, lack of information out there and any information that is negative, but factual, is hard to access because it’s deemed transphobic. You literally have to specifically go look for it and nobody does that.
