I'll become a customer when you post the race with that civic

The code is also provided under the steering wheel by the floor and you can program it to any code you want after so it’s pretty cool

Oldest trick in the book. If you don't have two keys. Go to passenger side remove the kick panel. Look behind bcm. 4 numbers and a letter. Those 4 numbers is the code

One the best things that Ford ever put on their vehicles

My mom had a code lock on her 89 ford cougar. On my birthday my friends and I where standing around her vehicle waiting for her to come out and take us to discovery zone. I was randomly punching in combos and eventually got it! The look on her face as she walked up to her car and saw all us kids inside laughing was priceless.

every ford I've ever owned also has hidden somewhere in the interior. you do have to take some things apart to get to it but if you only have one key it's nice to have.

This started in 1980 with the cougar, t-bird, town car and maybe the Mark VI.

I agree!
The keyless entry pad Ford pioneered back in 1980 with the Lincoln Mark VI, my mom had a 1981 Mark VI Signature Series, what an amazing car that was!

my 1984 Lincoln has the keyless entry. they each have their own unique code however you can program your own and use either. the factory code is on a sticker on the passenger side trunk lid hinge in the trunk incase you forget it.

I had a keypad like that on my 88 thunderbird.

This just popped up! I looked all over you tube for a way to reset it. Amazing this is probably the only video out there and it worked!

I know on older models (I had a 2014 F150) the code is on the ECU by passenger feet, just forward of the door. Very easy to get to, helpful if you don't have both keys.

I traded in a Ford Fusion several years ago. I saw the new owner getting in it at ACE. I asked them if they knew the passcode. They did not. I used my code to open the door before telling them it use to be my car.

What's also cool is if you know the right key presses you can make windows roll down, pop the trunk etc. Was really neat back then when you got out and realized someone hadn't rolled up a window etc.

That came out in the 80's on ford's. My 1986 thunderbird Elan` package had the key pad. Awesome feature!!
