This paper I would say was better than paper 1 overall but these topics are still likely to come paper 3:
-Transformations (Reflection, Rotation, Enlargement, Translation)
-Standard form
-Quadratic simultaneous equations
-Recurring decimals
-Angles in parallel lines
-Linear sequences
-Sin, cos and tan graphs
-Algebraic proof
-Box plots
-Exchange rates
-Best Buy
-Plans and elevations
-Averages from frequency tables
-Normal direct and inverse proportion (not algebraically)
-All types of graphs (Quadratic, Cubic and reciprocal)
-Capture-Recapture
-Completing the Square
-Proof of the circle theorems
-Quadratic formula
-Cosine rule (this can come up as only the sine rule had come up in paper 2)
-Speed = distance/time
-Density = mass/volume
-Inequalities on graphs
-Congruent triangles
-Parallel lines (only perpendicular lines came up on paper 1)
-Sectors and Arc lengths

for me honestly, every question was very easy on this paper, except the last 2. I think I only got one or two marks on those.

i have to admit the whole paper was very simple, even the last few. Unfortunately looking at the mark scheme, i managed to only grab 65/80 of the marks, since i spent 15-20 mins on the last question, and had misread it so wasted time, i didnt have that much time to check so i made 2 silly mistakes which lost me 6 marks. My stress was kicking in, and when i came back home i was able to solve all of the questions on the entire paper even the last one coming from a grade 9 mathmetician student, without looking at the mark scheme. Im shocked at my performance and will improve my paper 3 performance by hopefully bagging all 80/80 marks since i got 75/80 on paper 1

paper went well, most questions went well apart from a few questions towards end. marks for some questions seemed too easy like the 4 marks for just doing interest for 2 house prices and 4 marker on circumference.

Topics that haven’t come up yet
Bearings
Transformations(rotation, enlargement, translation, reflection)
Geometric sequences
Arithmetic sequences
Quadratics
Equation of circles and tangents let me know f I missed some I might have and also revise the seen topics as they will likely come again in paper 3

Probability relative frequency style question has appeared before. Surprised graph transformation questions over 2 pages was only 2 marks. Last question Paper 2, I always with polygons always calculate interior angle and get a mark!!!

Here are topics I am predicting should hopefully appear in paper 3:
Quadratic Simultaneous Equations
Equation of a circle, tangent to a circle
Regions
Reflection, Rotation, Enlargement, Translation
Invariant Points - for rotations and mixed with transformaions
Probability equations
Congruent Triangles
Inverse Proportion (in context)
Trigonometric graphs
Completing the square (definitely coming up)
Sectors of circle / shaded area
Sketching quadratics
Velocity-time graphs / Distance time graphs / Distance under a curve / Drawing a tangent at a curve
Proportion questions (e.g. $1 = £1.28)
Loci and Construction (might come up)
Geometric proof
Algebraic proof
Volume of a cone / sphere / pyramid / cylinder etc. (Solid shape problems)
Expanding triple brackets
Converting metric units (1m^2 into mm^3)
Equations involving indicies

For me the paper was very good, but the last question, especially under time conditions at first glance is challenging, i think that as its under time conditions it scares students and so they fear they will do badly on it as a result. But if you come back to the question and spend time to understand it, it is very good.

Overall, good paper, but you can make mistakes if you are careless and dont look back at your work, which some may not be able to do as some run out of time.

I'm so glad i watched a vector video this morning before the exam. I could've missed out on easy marks

Thanks. Honestly love it when you guys react to the papers. So interesting, lol! I think I got a decent 70 marks (at least aroundish) on the paper.

Paper 2 last question get interior angle of regular octagon hence interior angle of the star then 1/2abSinC knowing sides are a long then you getting there!!!

overall good paper im pretty sure i atleast got an 8 hoping to smash paper 3 to secure that grade or maybe even a 9 inshallah 😁

the last question was signicantly easy, i misread it and im shocked at myself, i spent 20 mins of random working out of the octagons, and the shaded region. I calculated the difference :(, after i came home i easily solved it within 4 mins wow.

I found it hard inshallah it goes well...

yeah im definitely failing :( have to get like 50-60 marks on all paper 1, 2 & 3 just to get a 4 on foundation, Yallah I can’t do this

Say paper went alright.

Do you guys remember what q4, q5, q6 questions asked. (completely forget them)

Cheers

Last question was relatively easy as long as you can get it
