Your content is always helpful. I am a bit confused here.. I dont quite understand WHY we are doing this.. I know you say we shouldnt try to understand math, but I feel like I need to be able to see this stuff happening in 3 space and idk why I struggle. I know that a gradient vector is a compass of maximum increase on a surface, but how is it orthogonal to the tangent plane if its on a surface on a point of the tangent plane?
