OpenAI just released the biggest news in the AI world since November of last year at their first ever Dev Day keynote. These new releases could potentially destroy AI Automation Agencies as we know them, but also present some MASSIVE opportunities.

In this video I breakdown the keynote and what it means for AAA startups, as well as why I think offering AI chatbots to your clients is dead.

The thing is, for tech nerds like us, everything looks easy, but for the average people who don't even know how to make a proper prompt this advances are just too much to grasp...there are many...MANY business owners out there that don't have a clue about this stuff, we're going to be able to offer better solutions and deliver in a fraction of the time with much lower costs. It's gonna be golden, we just have to focus on having the right lead magnets. Future looks amazing for our business model. Only big companyes with IT departaments are gonna get out of our reach.

The update is amazing, it will make my clients even more money! It is definitely a scary update though, given OpenAI can release updates and decimate hundreds of businesses and SAAS products overnight hahaha.

maybe we can build staff train chatbots that are specific for every worker and has the path on which workers will improve and advance, i think gpts can not do it that good, please give me zour opinion

There are still people who are non-technical and super busy and disinterested in this so even though it’s super easy, for you and me ….they’re not gonna do it. So we are still needed for the average person. And older demographics too.

Hey Brock! I watched your previous video and I’ve watched you for a while and I gotta say thank you for being so honest and transparent with your journey so far, I appreciate you sharing the challenges as much as the wins, if not more.
Quick question: everyone seems to just watch these AAA videos and just go straight to try selling it, but have you done any market research, interviews and idea validation with potential clients, before actually building something and try to sell it? I’ve not found anything on YouTube related to this topic

Dev day was a huge middle finger to developers. Hey developers, thanks for using our API to build successful products. We have co-opted the best ones and now will let non devs build them on our platform using NLU, lol. Look at all these low code integrations, developers love no code, right, right? Being a developer during late stage capitalism sucks. How the heck are we supposed to compete with billion dollar corporations? Moral of the story living in the US no matter what best you can hope for are the ever shrinking morsels the born rich crowd is willing to let fall onto the floor.

Do we have to pay to use GPTs, ? Like the chatbotbuilders openai will Launch

My opinion on this is simple: AIAAs that are mainly doing chatbots instead of workflows are gonna die out.

No is gonna pay for a 2000 chatbot compared to a build your own with ease one for 30 dollars

But then again the GPT and Assistant API will create new millionaires. I feel like GPTs is gonna be the new App Store for example you can make something extremely custom if you market it right

If I was interested in this opportunity, I would start writing down ideas and learning other platforms and prompting. Once you do. You can probably be a go to person for said bots

If you charged businesses for a botpress bot or zapier automation, why not charge them again from here and deliver faster and better

I can't get how people could get rich selling chatbot since the price is probably gonna drop with this new update. Also finding the right clients seems like a lot of trouble and you don't get much money out of your clients.
