My Worst Night Ever - 2 Days Wild Camping in The Lake District

Показать описание
This is part 1 of a 2 day wild camp - my first ever multi-day wild camp. Starting in Grasmere I headed up past Alcock Tarn to our first camp Heron Pike. It was here I had the worst sleep I've ever had wild camping because of one little mistake I made. The next morning we headed up over Fairfield before dropping down into Glenridding.

Great video as usual and views...and...congratulations on 1000 ! Subscriber's! Don't change anything ! I enjoy your narrative, bit of music now and again, "You do You " . Keep it real and genuine like you are. " Is this the summat?!?! " I reckon that's your catchphrase ...AND definitely a t-shirt when you start doing merch ....your welcome 😂

Not sure if it'll help but, I always had issues with toe pain walking because of the boots pinching them. Didn't matter about shoe size but the shape. Moving to barefoots helped, but then tried a new shoelacing pattern to ease pressure off. Helped especially with going down hill etc.

Great video, i enjoy the yattering on the most, i can relate to your sense of humour. Andrew Foster - Rockstar has a nice blend of talking/quiet cinematic bits. Scottish summiteer has a nice blend of calming talking, which compliments his videos. However, i think your patter compliments the style of video you make, it comes across as genuine. Nice to see you out enjoying the outdoors and taking the time and effort to record it for our enjoyment 👍

Fleece blankets available in different sizes and thicknesses. They pack down/compress quite small and are fairly lightweight. A good idea to take one as a backup because of the warmth they provide. Put it over you inside the sleeping bag. Another "saver" is take one or 2 of those car window protectors, the ones that are shiny one side and thin foam the other side, they are very lighweight and fold down very small... they also make a big thermal improvement.

This is going to sound a stupid question, can you get a phone signal up the top of the hills

You mentioned about viewers not subscribing. Personally I haven't subscribed because although I enjoy watching you're video i can't listen to your constant yattering on 100% of the time. I have to mute you to enjoy it. Maybe just yatter on part of the time. Does anybody else feel the same?
