I'm obviously a late comer who just recently saw your videos. Your attention to detail and your level of skill are amazingly impressive and it shows in the final product. I've just started watching your journey in building a Viking boat and I've enjoyed the progress so far. You are doing an awesome job and I look forward to seeing the end result. I'm not skipping any episodes in case you were wondering. Cheers!

Don't know if you're the only woman on youtube that makes this kind of videos, but you're the first that i've seen, and i'm impressed!
The fact that you made the shaping of the knife blade without power tools speaks greatly of your skills and patience, not a lot of blacksmiths on youtube are willing to forge anything with out a power tools.

And the fact that you chose to put viking folk music in the video hooked me in, since it teased my inner viking fanboy.

Love your videos. The music is fantastic and so are your projects. I couldn't part with such a beautiful knife. My 5 year old granddaughter said "Whoa, that's nice. Give her a thumbs up."👍👍

Always amazing to see the amount of hard work that goes into making a knife the old-fashioned way. It was a beautiful knife, then you put the carvings into the handle and it became more like a museum piece.

Great video and knife !!
I'm setting up a shop to finally begin blacksmith work. It's been a dream for many years and just now taking shape.
I found out from family that my Great Grandfather who immigrated from Germany in 1871 was Kaiser Wilhelm the 1st blacksmith and opened a shop in Nebraska that year. I'm following in his footsteps.
I'm a certified welder and built nuclear power plants in the 70s while studying metallurgy and mechanical engineering at the same time. Now I can find out what I'll be when I grow up.
I found your channel while searching for projects to begin with and you are an inspiration to say the least.
I admire your artistic skill and i will have to learn them however I don't use that side of my brain much.
I'm looking forward to your next work.
Thanks,
Charlie
