Power Platform Use Cases : Transforming Job Applications Process with Power Platform & AI🤖

Have you ever applied for a job, thinking your resume had it all covered, only to face a tedious form asking for the same details again?

📄 I used to find this process incredibly frustrating, it seemed like a never-ending cycle of uploading resumes and filling out repetitive forms.

What if there was a smarter way to this process for both applicants and HR teams? Imagine, sending an email to HR and having all necessary details extracted seamlessly. No more repetitive form-filling!

Recently, I experimented with Power Platform tools and AI to simplify job applications and the flow goes like this:
1. Candidates email their resume to HR.
2. PowerAutomate reads the email and stores the resume in SharePoint.
3. Extracting key details like name, email, education, and achievements are extracted and stored in SharePoint lists using AI prompts.
4. A PowerApps Canvasapp displays this information in a clear, user-friendly format.

🌟 This POC highlights the potential of integrating Power platform technologies under the tagline of Microsoft Power Platform "Powerful Alone, Better Together"

Through this journey, I've seen firsthand how technology can transform traditional processes into something more intuitive and effective. It's not just about automation - it's about enhancing the applicant experience and empowering HR teams to focus on what truly matters.

While developing this application, there are numerous factors to consider - licensing, storage, ALM, security, and more. These elements are crucial for ensuring a robust and sustainable solution.

However, for this POC, my primary goal was to validate the concept and functionality 😊. It's an exciting phase where I explore the potential of integrating Power Platform and AI to streamline job applications.
