Did you catch this in Teen Wolf? When Scott gets bitten by Peter in the Teen Wolf pilot, he runs out of the woods and into the road, where he almost gets hit by a car. Scott was just spared as the automobile suddenly swerved out of the way. Afterwards, Scott and Allison come to the conclusion that Scott almost collided with Allison and her mother's vehicle. That scene with Eli is recreated in Teen Wolf: The Movie. Like Scott, Eli dashes out of the trees and into the road, but unlike Scott, he is almost run over by a car that swerves to miss him.
