NEW BIKE Reveal and first ride

I'm looking forward to showing you my new bike... Spoiler alert - it's a new Suzuki GSX-8R! I think I'm going to be in for a good summer :)
First task is to run it in... so there wasn't much chance of making this video very exciting! Hopefully you'll at least stay awake to the end 😂
Since the weekend, I've rolled the rear preload (which I talked about in the video) from 4/7 down to 3/7 but I haven't ridden it yet (in fact as I type it's snowing outside... so might be a while before I ride it again!)
This video only has some pretty early thoughts and feelings about the Suzuki, please stayed tuned for more!

It's sad to hear today that the Ponderosa Cafe in Llangollen, North Wales (my destination on the Sunday ride in this video) has ceased trading and will not re-open this year. It is a great meeting point for riders on a weekend in a great spot, and it will be missed!

Nice bike! The weekend was glorious, was also out on my Ducati supersport 950! Am local-ish to you so will look out for someone on a silver sportsbike smiling alot :)

Great bike, congrats! I have the same one in the same colour! Coincidentally I also had an SV1000S in 2003 & was thinking along the same lines when buying the silver 8R. Originally it was my least favourite colour in the pics, but when I saw it in reality compared to the blue & black ones, it was easily the best colour imo. The red & pale silver really stood out, especially the red wheels & accents. I didn't like the grey wheels on the blue one & the black was quite boring imo. Anyway, hope you enjoy it & I've made quite a few mods to mine so happy to compare notes. : )

Springs need mileage to bed in properly so will feel better as the mileage increases

USB port only does 0.5 amps. USB 3 gives 0.9 amps

Don’t you have a S1000 XR? Is this not very… uninspiring in comparison? I know I would not walk past my XR to get to this on a nice Saturday morning🤔
