30 Minute Upper Body Push Circuit Workout | MOVE - Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of MOVE! Let's get stronger together with this circuit style PUSH WORKOUT!

This upper body workout is going to target our chest, shoulders, and triceps in the best way. We will complete 4 rounds of our strength exercises for 45 seconds of work and 15 seconds rest focusing on a tempo of 2-0-2. This means 2 seconds to lower the dumbbells and without pausing 2 seconds to push the dumbbells back up. I also want you to rock this workout with dumbbells that are 75%-85% of your maximum dumbbells weights for each exercise.

Chest circuit 3:48-12:33
1. Chest press
2. Chest Fly
3. Push up and DB drag
Shoulder Circuit 12:35-21:46
4. Shoulder Press
5. Thumbs up front raise
6. Sit up and press and extension
Tricep Circuit 21:47-30:47
7. Skull crushers
8. Tricep oh Extension
9. Tricep kickbacks
Cool Down 30:48-33:46

In this workout you are training with Sydney Cummings, owner of Royal Change and NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Women’s Fitness Specialist, and Stretching and Flexibility Coach. Can’t tell you how thankful I am to have found your program. My husband has Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease (diagnosed five years ago at the age of 35). He needs to exercise rigorously every day as the most important part of his treatment. I have been trying to exercise with him daily to help motivate and encourage him (plus be strong and healthy myself). One of the important aspects of exercise for him is that he needs to do different movements to keep the brain body connection alive. The fact that you have put together a comprehensive program where there are so many different movements every day, day to day, had been helpful beyond comprehension. Your program has been a literal lifesaver for us.

I'd just like to echo the message on persistence. Dedicated practice is so important to seeing gains. We tear down muscles to build them back up, then tear them down again for more building. We get this yo-yo type of effect that if we check in at the wrong time we can feel like we're actually losing ground. We see the benefits in the long term. The same is true of flexibility if you're working on that. Some of these things take so long to develop. Persistence and dedication are key! <3 the Sydney pep talks at the end

This work out flew by! Usually I don't get to do the work outs the day that they are posted because I have to work out earlier but I loved doing this one today knowing the squad was doing it right by my side <3 Crushed it!
