help me to understand please. if my router is what assigns ip addresses (192.168.x.x) to all my connected devices... how am i able to access ip addresses as assigned by macvlan on a remote machine? Like... if the server im using to run docker has been assigned an ip of 192.168.0.150 then every docker container on that server should be accessible via that singular ip addess and their respective ports. I've been trying to get adguard home setup with portainer and am attempting to do it via macvlan but when i go to the ip address:port designated by the macvlan (which doesnt comflict with any other service/device)... my browser can't find anything. i feel like im missing a crucial piece of the puzzle.

If you do not set up DHCP on Pi-Hole you don't need to change anything on the router side right (starting and ending pool) ? how do i keep the DHCP assigned to the router not overlaping with the macvlan ?

just wondering for the gateway option, will I point this to my router or the IP of the hosts interface?

I've manage to create the LAN Network in portainer and assign it to the container
I can ping the IP of that container from my laptop but not with my router
My router unable to ping it, so I can't forward any service port that through my router to that IP Container
Do you know why?
Thank You

silly question, but would it be possible to do this while running the containers on your native windows using wsl?
