I hope this helps everyone that is trying to build a hackintosh. I always say that you just gotta try new things and don't worry so much about failing. I will continue to improve these videos.

@Kingstown8 If you look on the motherboard bottom left next to where it says "Designed in Taipei" it will be either Rev:1.0 of Rev:1.1. then you need to go into your BIOS and see if it says F4 and download the correct DSDT for the right Motherboard version and BIOS version.

@fripp1229 Are you waiting 10 seconds after putting the disc in to press f5? Make sure that there are no USB devices plugged in. Only the Keyboard and mouse should be plugged in. You might also try using the legacy iboot disc.

@iapp1027 That is the BIOS update. If you look at the description there are time codes and the BIOS updates start at 05:38.

@gerardolombana you can use a different hard drive yes but the sata controllers must remain in AHCI mode.

@MetalJohn3 Yes! There is a DSDT for it so there is good compatibility for the components on that mobo.

@tomellingsen You need to use the iboot disc to boot into the desktop and re-run multibeast again.

@Kingstown8 I had to do that once for a system I could not get the sound working on. I ended up using a USB sound card from Creative called the Xfi-Go. You should not need to install USB kexts. plug in a thumbdrive and see if it works. If it does then you don't need any USB kexts.

@acalora123 you can try to setup the raid from the very beginning at the BIOS level. when you get to the install process, you will either see or not see a hard drive to install mac osx to.

I also have the 6870 and it works well in snow leopard but only as much as 2 monitors. Could not get 3 monitors to work in it.

@cerezosify yes it does. full 1080p on both monitors. But I have not been able to get the HDMI working.

@drevilownsu It would depend on the DSDT. If you look up the DSDT available for your motherboard and notice that it is for a newer BIOS then yes you should update to the newer BIOS.

@EditmasterMumbai I suggest looking up the DSDT database (in my video) for another gigabyte board that is available in your country and then buy a firewire card. A card i have used is the DP Firewire 800 PCIe (NN-FW0012-S1).

Is there a Bus Overrides Menu? If there is, there should be a High Precision Event Timer. That is HPET.

I have installed Bootcamp on a Mac book pro but I have not been able to get Boot Camp to work on a hackintosh. Gives me an error. How do I install it on a hackintosh?

@3v01167 The latest updates are suppose enable the integrated graphics (Intel 3000) chip. I personally have not been able to get it to work but others have.
