Yea I have 16.5 that will work do they have them for 20” transoms 😂 a 90 hp I’ll have to put pods on the back

Still rating our 2.5 EFI Mercury horses for courses I guess. Four stroke for reliable cruising.

Sounds terrible... 4 strokes in general do nothing for me, since every company went 4 stroke except Evinrude I was bummed when they closed up, from 300hp down we had a choice and those etech motors ran cleaner than 4 strokes, not to mention they destroyed 4 strokes from the second you hit the throttle. The Evinrude 150 HO dusted everything it went up against. I hoped Evinrude kept open the 2 stroke from 300 down as most people would prefer the 2 stroke if it ran as clean as the 4stroke, the etech motors ran CLEANER than the 4 stroke. I was a Mercury tower of power man from the 70's with an 80's Evinrude V-4 115 for 3 years and id take any of those over most 4 strokes today. Mercury as usual rulz... A Verado 300 or the 300R would destroy this 300 yamaha.
