Samsung T7 Touch Portable 1TB SSD - Unboxing and First Look

I recently was able to get a hold of this Samsung T7 Touch external 1TB SSD hard drive.

It's really quite cool, as it has a built in fingerprint scanner that can be used to lock/encrypt the contents of the drive in order to protect your data.

Soon I saw a button that said on or off for the fingerprint unlock so you can turn this feature off and use the ssd like normal without the fingerprint feature?

Great. I just got one (but not the Touch version). Question is . . . what's on it? How do I access it? Installation says complete but it shows nothing on it for Properties. Zero. So . . . there are no instructions or step-by-step written anything . . . am I supposed to Import, or what? Website wasn't any help either. NOTHING.

Your USB needs to be 3.2 Gen2 for full speeds.

It's unbelievable....I forgot my password but I can still use my fingerprint to login. Im scared to add data on it because I don't know if it will ever tell me to enter my password or can I continue to use my finger.

You need a USB 3.1 gen 2 port to get de speeds advirtised .
