Didn't know about the sand and tnt underwater. Going to try it instead of the blocks and redstone method next time I raid an Ocean Monument. Thanks.

Another block that people dont use enough is scaffolding, it can be used to send redstone signals upwards and allows entities to go upwards through it but not downwards, this is helpful for guardian farms. It also prevents entity cramming, same with ladders and vines

6:12 Did this on a minecraft 1.18.1 server
If you place a soul sand block, wear soul speed boots, crouch and move on it until you get the effect, and then bridge with normal blocks while still crouching, you keep your speed, allowing for some really quick bridging without the risk of falling w/ speed bridging.

I knew the Lodestone was a real block, but I didn't know what its use was, now that I know that it is so useful (in terms of exploration) I will use it much more. Thanks for making these magnificent videos, keep it up.

One other use for powdered snow not mentioned is you can put carpet on top and you will not receive any fall damage from any distance and will not sink in without leather boots.

One of the only channels where their "Top 10 Unknown Features" are actually not widely known, interesting and useful. Good work :)

The trick of placing a block between you and tnt is simple to explain:

Player position is anchored at players feet. When you put down a block, you cover your feet from the tnt so you take less damage.

Your guys' channel has gone so far! My favourite videos are probably these ones and the survival series. But the farm tutorials and all of your videos are also impressive since it's all in survival

I genuinely had no idea about the wall trick for redstone. Helps a ton for some of my builds involving vertical downward signal circuits, which take up a lot of space, resources, and have linear-growing delay

Honestly, I think scaffolding is the most useful block. It helps to reach high areas without pillaring up, and it is entirely renewable.

Dont do the mushroom on the end portal if you're playing on bedrock. Tried this on one of my longer lasting runs and it completely broke my portal, even though the mushroom only broke the frame
