iPhone 8 Plus vs. Galaxy Note 8: Camera comparison

This is not pro Apple or pro Samsung... but people need to wake the f*ck up with this whole low light obsession. She said the photo in the Note of the blue orb looked better because the houses and shit behind it were more exposed but the actual subject looked worse?! Mate if I was taking a picture of that thing why would I want to see the pointless shit behind it really nice but the actual thing I’m photographing less nice?

Sometimes photography isn’t about just exposing every single thing in an entire scene exactly the same.... or nah?

On the note 8, you can download the pixel 2 camera app and get hdr+, images look so much better now

I hope people watching this review remember that all photos are subjective, so a person can like a photo that you don't for a reason as simple as its brighter or has a better skin tone. (FYI I am a little biased toward the Note's shots because i have been using Galaxy cameras for a few years and i tend to like Samsung's image processing more than Apple's)

Nice review, thanks for sharing. Although I couldn't help but notice the expression "DSLR effect". Lol. A short depth of field was attainable way before the invention of the DSLRs, plus you have several other systems like mirrorless cameras. Not to mention that even with a full frame sensor, if you stop down your aperture you will have absolutely no background blur.

Wow really...both are just phones with cameras with new features added to them...it’s a phone. Who cares if it’s a Samsung or an Apple. It just comes down to matter of preference, no need to be so hostile or offended about who prefers what. People argue about Samsung vs Apple phones as if it’s there invention.
