I got the DF502 a few months ago. I am impressed with the cooling, no reverse fan installed. It was the only case that looked modern with a 5.25" drive bay for blu-ray.

Hey man, I was checking aliexpress and I saw that snowman now has it's own thermal paste (snowman MTG10) that on paper promises 14.3 W/mk, just for like 10 bucks for a 10 gram tube, I thought it could be a great contender for a future thermal paste round up

The Ryzen 5 5500 has notable flaws but it's pretty underrated. People act like the cache and PCI 3 instead of 4 is the end of the world, for manufactured rage bait clicks. It's still gonna work decently, like any modern ish Ryzen 5 CPU and it's still gonna perform OK when paired with a good GPU. It's usually not that good of a deal but not everyone lives in America or Europe and in some countries the Ryzen 5 5500 is a lot cheaper than the Ryzen 5 5600.

To everyone saying the 5500 is a “bad” buy and just to get the 5600, you are literally cutting down the pcie bandwidth in half if you are using a b450 motherboard. Sure, the 5600 is better under the right platform. If you want the 5600, get a b550 board instead. This cpu is going to breath a ton of life into B350/X370/B450/X470 boards for a long while. No need to hate on a product that actually makes sense. You don’t see intel refreshing previous generations at all.

Personally Im not a big fan of the R5 5500 but other than that its a great build and great editing.

I’m glad I’m not the only one sleeping on the R5 5500 I did a similar build with a RX6600 for $1000 AUD it performed so well! Great video I know these builds will surprise a lot of people with how much value you can get now for your money 👍🏻

Love the B roll at the end how the ram is nicely stacked!

Thanks for this video Brian. This helped get my 6750xt card to squeeze out some more performance due to those changes you did in the bios. Really appreciate the content that you bring to the community.

I'm interested in seeing both how much "we" would pay for such a build but also want to see how much was saved from buying used.

I used to build with Antec cases all the time, I just made another build with one and it’s great.

Another great video Brian.
Been looking at the DX700 case myself. One question about that bottom fan. Wouldn't it be more effective being up top stucking the hot air out? Down the bottom the air is cooler, therefore stucking out cooler air.
I have a 240mm aio, so that'll go up the top of mine. One thing I was thinking about with that bottom fan. Wouldn't it be beneficial to the gpu cooling for it to be blowing up into the gpu? Would've been interesting for you to test that set up.

Another great video Brian. Looking forward to the next one.
Hope you're enjoying your time in Japan.

Just my two cents worth, the bottom reverse fan will fight and effectively steal fresh air away from the GPU fans. Better if the GPU was vertical mounted.

For the pricing: It would be nice if you show the two sheets (standard price and Tech Yes hunting price) so all people can see the difference, what earnings you can achieve with a bit of little more effort in hunting deals. I think that the hunting for the best price is part of the channel. The difference in Germany now is also round about 60€ for the next step from the 5500 (140€) 5600 CPU (200€). So a big difference for 16MB more Cache and PCIe 4.0 compatibilty.

the thing about 5500 is it doesn't have pcie 4

Thank you ANTEC for making a physical button! Wish every case manufacturer did this. Some go out the way to make own hubs, and force own software on you (looking at you NZXT!). I'd love a case button/remote that can control RAM and Motherboard RGB also with a button.

A comparison of the prices you got vs what they go for brand new would be good for these kinds of builds. Great video as always 👍🏻
