World Down Syndrome Day is observed on March 21st every year to raise public awareness and promote understanding and acceptance of people with Down syndrome.

Down syndrome is a genetic condition where a person is born with an extra chromosome, which affects their physical and cognitive development. It may also result in severe complications, such as heart defects, leukemia, and immune system issues.

Despite this, we must recognize that there are more commonalities than disparities between us all, and by simply paying attention and showing empathy, we can bridge the gap.

Nowadays it’s becoming more and more common for women to have kids past 35! I read somewhere that babies born with Down syndrome have moms that were younger than 30 than older.
