....A closer look at my Hodgkin's Lymphoma neck lumps! (BEWARE!)

♥ Did you know that many people with Hodgkin's Lymphoma don't even have symptoms? In my other video, I talked about discovering my swollen lymph nodes.

It's hard to know if these other symptoms I am experiencing are directly related to HL or if it's just a fluke! For example, about a month later (August), I noticed that I would feel quite feverish randomly... It felt like I was having hot flashes (this is also during the middle of summer!) I've also lost a bit of weight and by the end of the day, I am pretty tired! (but who isn't?!) My doctor asked me if I was experiencing night sweats and literally that same night, I had one! Sounds like my mind was playing tricks on me....

My point is.... I don't know if these things are related or not. Without my swollen lymph nodes, I would have just dismissed them as they are minor symptoms.

Wow never knew the lymph nodes get that big I have lymph nodes that pop out and move around I’ve been worried about because I didn’t know what a large cancerous lymph nodes looked like appreciate this vid a lot and you will get through this I’m praying for you the most high has your back 🙏🏾

Self observation is key ! I found it twice n both malignant tho #1 took a while to get treatment. #2 took just a phone call to my pc doc n got immediate attention n treatment. Just had first follow up after #2 n clear. Probably another 5 year of following up but I’m still a kikin n feel my self is back !!

Hi Alexandra! Have you ever had the lymph nodes kind of behind the ear on the neck get swollen? I think they are called Auricular lymph nodes or something like that? I am getting tested atm on Friday and I know in my gut it isn't normal, I have night sweats, fevers, weight loss, and the lymph nodes swollen reminds me of when I had mono. But maybe I'm over reacting. Looking for some comfort I guess is how I found your video. I have MS and they thought maybe it could be maybe a CNS lymphoma presenting itself mimicking MS. I've been on a small dose of chemo for that Ofatumumab, but I am just worried to actually find out thats true. Your videos are really helpful!

I have lump in the same areas as yours. Before I didn't appreciate my collar bone, after getting a lump I realize how beautiful collar bones are. It been 5 years, but I'm afraid to took an operation.

I have a lymphnode swollen on my left collarbone, and somehow when i drink alcholic drinks or something for like a year... it burns exactly in that lymph node, its so uncomfy, they took an echo and found nothing... hella tired... its not as swollen as hers but im not skinny eather... doctors says its nothing

Thankful I don’t have that but I have a vein that goes across the collar bone it’s normal. Not chubby got me but it hurts because I have been constantly touching it and driving my fingers into it which can make it swell up and I was touching it a lot last night and now it’s red and a little painful. But I’ve had this forever it was the same before

Your hair did look cute! Thank you so much for sharing your experience, I hope you are doing better. If you don't mind answering, did you experience any upper back or shoulder pain on the same side as the lumps?

I am not a doctor but from my research:
- Echo cannot tell 100% but there are some characteristics which would be more worisome like short axis of the node is more then 10mm, nodule is more round than oval, it's hard, doesn't have hilum (in the centre), on Doppler the blood is not central but more chaotic. Ask the doctor to write all these characteristics and even print some image if you want to check the evolution.
- Do a blood test on hemoleucogram, ESR, LDH, liver tests and a microscope check of blood cells to confirm hemoleucogram findings. However, lymphoma will not appear in blood tests unless it's advanced and reached the bone where blood cells are made. You can also check for EBV DNA to find if you had EBV previously.
- Ultimately only a biopsy can say but for Hodkins biopsy with a neddle cannot say for sure, an excisional biopsy is more certain. Multiple tests are performed on a biopsy first histopatology, then IHC and possibly molecular tests.
Once again, I am not a doctor. Still not sure which are the low grade, indollent and their double tumor time.
