The United Nations on Friday described the deadly Israeli settler attack on a village in the occupied West Bank as "horrific," adding that 609 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since 7 October.
Over 100 Israeli settlers stormed the village of Jit near Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, killing one person and burning four homes and six cars, according to multiple sources.
Anadolu Agency reported that one witness said Israeli forces prevented Palestinian civil defense teams from entering the village and provided protection to the illegal settlers.
