According to a dev the best three horses in the game are in order 1.Missouri fox trotter 2. Black Arabian 3. Gray Arabian.

If you want to know the best horse according to the developer, it is in the 3rd Wild Photography side mission,
If you buy the ultimate package, you can get a free horse with the same stats but not as good stamina and energy as the Missouri Fox trotter.
Arabian is indeed fast, black Arabian has better Healthy and Energy stats than white Arabian, black Arabian can be obtained in Saint Denis Random Encounter robbery of lovers, but when we stow an item, the speed of Arabian will feel unstable (with a cinematic display) and the core energy drains faster when the camera display is normal, and of course is her (Stallions can only be purchased at the stable)short appearance looks like Arthur is riding a mule

I think RDR2 should also have stats for the horse's courage or bravery... Like, if you tame a wild horse, depending on the breed, it ends less to drop off his back when a predator is creeping on you

White arabian is the best free horse available in the game. Other than that red grey Arabian, black arabian is better than that but would cost u a lot. Missouri fox, tukomen are the different breed of horses which are worth buying if you don't like the Arabians.. red grey Arabian found in blackwater stable has the highest stats in the game.

The differences in stats woth horses is 0.6% per bar. So pick the horse you like the most and apply the Nagadoches saddle. This idea that one horse is better than the other is ridiculous and flawed.

there aint no horse like Buell, it’s a shame you can get it so late in the game though…i guess i’ll try to get this horse for now until i get Buell again

I bought the standard edition but every new playthrough i do i always have a free ardennes in my stable

You can get ambushed in chapter 2 by O’drscolls either outside of camp down by the river or just north of the Appleseed timber co. One of them will be riding this horse. But it does scare easily…

You can buy it, orrrr a random event will happen where a stranger wants to race you, and this is the exact horse he will be on, you can win or loose the race then kill him and take the horse

I won the race and hogtied the girl and stole her horse just today. Leveled it to 4. It's a great horse. Fast and calm. Doesn't seem to spook compared to my others. Grabbed the Dark Bay Turkoman from the Braithwaite horse mission today too. It's health is huge.

FOX TROTTER is best in my opinion, ARABIAN are faster but they are too small in my opinion.
