This is also the Plague theme from the original Marble Nest (2016).

Successor to my favourite game of all time, the original Pathologic, Pathologic 2 has an outstanding soundtrack by the wonderful Vasily Kashnikov.

Damn, this track is amazing, and it's a real pity that this track is rare as hell in the game, I mean, the only time I've listened to this is after a dialogue with Katerina Saburova that makes appear the Rat prophet afterward

Wasn't this the quote-unquote original theme for infected districts in the Marble Nest demo from 2016? God, this song is so cool... wonder why they got rid of it in favor of just a 20-second grumbling drone in the final release.
