I would predict the Soto contract to be 50 million AAV for 13 years with a major signing bonus, in the 675 million area code.

Sasaki will land in a major market, I would think with a competitive team. It depends if sasaki wants to be a star, senga went to the Mets so he wouldn't be over shadowed and gets the ability to get product endorsement, sasaki wouldn't get that playing with Ohtani.

I'm an MLB fan living in Tokyo. I want Roki Sasaki to move to the New York Yankees instead of the Los Angeles Dodgers. I want him to wear a pinstripe uniform like former Yankees pitcher Masahiro Tanaka. I also want to see a pitching battle between pitcher Roki Sasaki and pitcher Shohei Otani in next year's World Series.

If any team can bring in both Sasaki and Soto it would be the Dodgers. The Dodgers are now the MLB destination of choice. Sorry Yankees/Mets fans. Padres fans go kick rocks. You’ve never won a thing in your miserable, hapless, feckless existence. Having said that I could be wrong, but for a young pitcher looking to pair with the best pitching infrastructure in the game it gets no better than the Dodgers. And for a young player in his prime who’s already won and knows the feeling of being a champion, and who wants to experience it possibly several times over, it would not surprise me if Juan Soto takes his talents to LA. He just witnessed first hand how lethal these Dodgers can be in the postseason. And why would he not want to be a part of that? #GoDodgers
