Can I just say that I love that after God scolds Moses for not believing in him, he immediately goes to comfort him, like a parent would do for a child. That just...hits me.

Fun fact: the part where God scolds Moses was not written by the screenwriters. They are direct quotes from the Old Testament. To be honest, I was really impressed when I found out how much this movie kept to the original story.

My favorite part is when God gets angry and screams at Moses, but then after seing how Moses is afraid, becomes gentle and loving.

Given that throat cancer has robbed Val Kilmer of his voice, it is especially moving to hear him in this scene performing the voices of both Moses and God. It's some of the best voice acting ever. I'm glad he got to do it and that it's preserved forever in this fine film.

The scenes with the white aura is so beautiful. His eyes are filled with God’s love, and Moses even cried, just like I did when I watched it.
