Lonzie had allegedly been abducted during a car theft, according to 32-year-old Ruben Ebron Jr, the boyfriend of Lonzie’s mother, 25-year-old Lonna Lauramore Barton. But as police question the couple, they start to uncover holes in their story. Soon, investigators start to question the validity of their statements as the race to find Lonzie intensifies. The 911 calls are always so telling…. Reporting a “stolen car” before mentioning a kidnapping of a child…

Well, this was pleasant. What didn't they do wrong? They had drugs around babies, they thought it was ok to leave two toddlers at home on their own, they didn't supervise the baby in the bath...I'm honestly surprised he made it that far, poor little buddy. It sucks when its children, they deserve so much better and there are people out there who cannot have children that would do anything for a beautiful little boy like that.

The mother should get twice the time as her boyfriend. She was the mother and the protector, and she failed miserably.

I think they both had something to do with the murder of Lonzie. Neither looked too upset about it. And she should have been charged with manslaughter too. They both neglected that baby boy!!!! Shame on them both. 💔

Lana is just as guilty, she sounded, while she was talking about possible scenarios ending in Lonzis death, she sounded like she was buying a loaf of bread.

This case is very similar to the one in New York where the father said he had been Carjacked and pistol whipped whilst his baby was in his car seat. They found his car exactly where he left it, in a stream with all the lights on and the doors wide open. After a few interviews he finally cracked and as they all do admitted what really happened to the child. The worst thing when you watch this is the so called Mother during interviews with detectives to help find Her Missing Child she looks like she couldn't care less. We can't hear what she's saying yet but any other Mother of Parent would be absolutely distraught especially when the boy is a victim of a so called Carjacking????

They should have both gotten life without the possibility of parole (LWOP). No questions there.
My heart weeps for these poor, sweet, innocent kids, who don't deserve the nightmarish lives they live. The system is broken beyond all recognition, especially here in the U.S., and it makes me so angry and sad and filled with despair.
Rest easy, Lonzie. My heart hurts for what you endured at the man that wasn't even your father.
