REVIEWED! 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 HD

GMC has officially separated itself from the rest of the segment with three key features on the All-New Sierra HD pickup trucks. #1 - MultiPro Tailgate. #2-towing cameras that the Ford and Ram can't compete with. And #3 - 15"+ head up display. Not the mention best in class towing. Game Over!

I went to buy a Denali and came home with the AT4. I’m very happy with both the looks and the performance. I have zero regrets in buying this truck. It has more power than I’ll ever need. I liked the interior design far more than the Denali as well. Very premium!

I hated the new GMC nose on the HDs when I first saw it. Now I'm not sure if I'm warming up to it, or if it's just less obnoxious in black and white or in videos.

The Denali and the AT4 are identical trucks, whether it be the 1500, the 2500HD or the 3500HD, with the exception of the "packages"...
Personally, I chose the AT4 in the 3500HD, the price difference between the 2500HD and the 3500HD, similarly equipped, was $1200, so it was a no brainer for me...for the extra $1200, I get the extra load and towing capacity, and virtually the same ride quality, and after all, it IS a truck, NOT a Mercedes...

Absolutely still love my Sierra AT4 to this day. It rides like a dream and I tow an 8000 lb camper with it (half ton).

I own a 2020 Silverado 2500 2LT, great truck, but I do envy that GMC tailgate, it's not a gimmick, it's really practical, especially if you do a lot of camping and tailgating

Only thing is, with the high luxury trims you lose out on payload and towing capacity compared to the lower trims.

I like this trucks looks, blingy and all chrome in old school way. That interior is beyond disappointing. Even a old F-150 looks better and RAM is way ahead. This GM interior is fit for a China and makes this a non-starter.
