Owned both. Both great. The MX5 the more fun road car. The BRZ is the tidier more capable car and better out of the box on track. The BRZ could be your only car though. It’s semi practical. The MX5 is a toy.

MAZDA Miata for cruising with the soft top down by the beaches, in the country roads, on the mountains, and forests. Nice for tight spaces too.

I chose MX-5. I will admit I was influenced by lack of availability and dealer markups on BRZ/GR86s. But when my Miata's top is down on a sunny day I don't regret my choice in the least.

My dad had (and still has) a first generation Mazda mx5, and some of my favourite childhood memories were going for drives along the river with the roof down playing music through the radio. I like the brz but I love the mazda

I voted for the MX-5 when I got a 2021 soft top. BRZ/86 was my second choice though

Drove an MX 5 RF - amazing car for so many reasons. Actually FUN to drive. Makes you want to go for a drive even if you don’t want to. Picking up a 2024 RF club soon. Metallic Blue!!

Long time Subaru guy and actually have been really wanting a BRZ. I don't have one because winter where I live is brutal, so the AWD cars are better. That being said, I also love the MX5. They are a great car to learn to race in and very reliable daily drivers.

Mx-5’s are just made to generate a smile on your face when you’re driving it. It doesn’t boast, it doesn’t show off, it’s content, and it is the pure driving experience
