Your videos are always so informative rather than "Welp this is what I did". You, instead, show the process (even if it appears small at the end) which I appreciate. Thank you!

A subscriber work weekend would be fun, a few subscribers bring their carts and the RBG crew can help them sort out issues. Just an idea!

Good clutches. I've been using the same clutch for 22 years. Just needs to be cleaned out and relubed once in a while, whenever it starts sticking. Comet says it's good to 18hp. I have it on a 23hp Briggs. The belt slips a little bit but not enough to make me get a different clutch.

I'm surprised no-one has given you hell about those "yalla" springs. Keep up the content brother! 🤣

Thanks for this video. I’ve had issues with keeping my 40 series lubed since day one but I’ve never gotten the comet graphite lube. I’ve tried PTFE, Moly, and white lithium grease and they don’t last more then a day or 2 of hard riding before they need more.

Yeah, that bronze bushing needs to be wider. That's a major flaw and it's always going to have some level of stickage, especially once it gets worn. Needs to be at least double the current width, and it wouldn't hurt it if it was thicker too.

There is another video out there that shows a way to open this without removing the welded nut, basically he put the welded nut in a vice and used a breaker bar with a slotted shaft welded onto it to loosen it from the inside.

Dutch invention. Developed in the fifties and sixties under the direction of Hub van Doorne of DAF. In 1958 Van Doorne introduced the Variomatic transmission system with belt drive.

Im assuming this took care of the disengaging issue too ? Along with opening the idle range?
