Hands Free Dog Walking Leash Belt Product Review

Hands Free Walking is awesome! I am so glad I got this belt. It makes walking two dogs so much easier, plus my hands are free! This is a very durable belt, with a lot of space in the pockets to hold whatever items we need. Kyjen really did a great job on this product. It is very comfortable to wear, as it really forms to your body. Shelby and Oakley sure love it!

These look pretty darn cool. I could totally see someone using these in an urban setting while running the dogs to and back from the park.

Totally agree about the retractable leashes not being too good. My family is trying to get me to get my cat leash trained and they got me a retractable leash to use. I also thought about the leash not retracting soon enough to get Catarina out of danger quickly enough(I'm in a wheelchair also). These leashes  are nice. My next cat, I'm definitely going to try to leash train.

What kind of effect does this have on balance? Would it be suitable to someone on crutches?

The belt looks good. The leashes that come with it look a little cheap. Had some of those type leaches originally with my German Shepherds and they literally ripped them in half. Great idea to use your own stronger leash with it; very clever.

Awesome!  I've been looking for one of these for quite a long time, but haven't been able to find one that looks comfortable.  I like the wide belt, more like a backpacking hip belt instead of a pants belt.

I wonder if these things would also work for running with your dog(s)? At higher speeds I hope it wouldn't slip/slide too much.

What if you had to immediately disconnect from the dogs for your safety in an emergency situation? Is the belt clip equipped to do this reliably 100% of the time?  That is a must for this type leash.  I realized this one day while walking a German Shepherd- NOT WITH THIS LEASH- but a long leather leash wrapped around my waist & clipped over the strap on one end and the dog's harness on the other when an aggressive dog came out of nowhere without warning trying to attack my dog who was lunging repeatedly at the other dog and I had no way to disconnect while the lunging made the strap tighten around me!  Thankfully, I had a walking stick and was able to use it as a barrier until the other dog's owner ran up & grabbed his dog.  But there are all types of unforeseen situations when you would need the ability to disconnect quickly & easily for your safety or the safety of your dogs.

Looks like a great product, I might have to get myself one! I have a German Shepherd and a Cocker Spaniel, the couplers just don't do well for us as one walks ahead and the other behind! This looks like just what we need. :)

Do your dogs poop in your back yard and if they do do you cover it with dirt? even outside how do you remove poop from the floor?
