South Korea's Incheon International Airport has wrapped up a seven-year expansion project. It is now the world's third largest airport in terms of handling capacity for international passengers. With the US$3.4 billion expansion, the terminal is now 734,000 square metres —nearly double its previous size. Passengers can also enjoy new experiences and high-tech features. By 2031, Incheon wants to accommodate more than 100 million passengers — a jump of about 38% from its current capacity of 77 million passengers. Lim Yun Suk reports.

If they don’t add more security and immigration lanes then this will be a disaster, people have to spend 50 minutes queuing during morning departures and that’s before all of these extra capacities. Not to mention incredibly pushy duty free staffs, staining a what supposed to be a pleasant experience in a state-of-the-art facility.

Not sure how the security are at Incheon but I just had to fly out of Gimpo and the security were some of the most ill mannered disrespectful people I've come across, it left a me with a very bad opinion of how the country treats its' tourists. Especially after coming from Japan where everyone does everything with a smile on their face.
