Thanks for the summary! This is helpful as I was a bit lost with the Nominees cards.

One thing I would recommend for everyone to do is to trade in their 80 OVR and 81 OVR cards in Team of the Week sets for 83 OVR TOTW cards to be used in TOTY Nominees sets. I don’t expect that you are losing the trade-in value here compared to the upcoming TOTY collectibles sets. EA has been pretty consistent in the value of the trade-in sets.

BTW - well done on Tomáš Hertl correct pronounciation, as someone born in the old good Czechoslovakia, I do appreciate that.

It’s honestly just disappointing the lack of communication ea has. I understand nhl isn’t their main game, but it can’t be this hard to give us a little more info.

hey sleeves, My understanding is that if u pull say a 85 hughes you would be able to turn him in for 6 collectibles vs a Fox which would give u 1 collectible and then use those collectibles for the toty player of your choice!! i just hope 87 will be useful ... i bought like 10 of them :(

Watched the stream and love the content Sleeves. As random as it is I think we know who will win and EA definitely does not hide it as I pulled 5 Kaprizov cards. Not to mention the 6 Josi cards. The fact you pulled MacKinnon off rip was something else.

Got 1 Mc David, 1 McKinnon, 1 Draisaitl, 3 Panarin, 4 Shesterkin, 3 Fox, 1 Tkatchuk, 1 Bobrovski, 1 Kaprizov and a shitload of pwhl players. Its very clear that some players are much harder to get than others.

After opening 20 toty sets, it is evident these nominations mean nothing as EA already has a clearcut list of whom is getting one. I only received 6 PWHL and of the 14, 0 mcdavid, mackinnon, makar, hughes. 85’s are still ok only if EA goes with the odd combo 83 85 87. One can say this is tough luck but I feel it has nothing to do with luck.

greetings from Germany, keep on the great vids. I have X-Factor McDavid and Kuch (BND), so I won‘t make their TOTY but will do 2-3 other. What do you recommend? Selling a bunge of 83s for 10k or use them for the nominee set? I suppose to have enough 84-86 for TOTY

Well buying 2 million coins in 83s and 85s at their lowest lows worked out pretty well 😂
