I was a single mom with 2 kids. I made the decision to have my kids with that 1 man not be married. We went our separate ways. I kept a roof over our heads, food in the house and bought clothes. My sons went to Disney world twice as well as other vacations. I didnt ask or receive anythibg from their dad. I did what needed to be done. Im not mad at him or have anything negative to say about him. That was my journey and my life experience and I am happy of was able to fulfill my responsibilities. By the way, never received section 8 or monthly welfare checks. Was entitled to food stamps temporarily maybe a total of 2 years if that long. Always worked overtime or 2 jobs.

A man is not responsible for taking care of his baby mama or any of her needs. If he is paying child support then that is calculated by he and the mama or the judge a percentage of his income that will support the costs of his child/children. I'm so tired of these needy woman. What if you had to take care of your child souly on your on with no help then these women would learn to appreciate the man. It all boils down to choices, and the choices can determine the interactions between mom and dad. At the end of the day he has a life and as long as he covers half the cost of his responsibilities then leave him be. BIG UPS TO ALL MY ACTIVE RESPONSIBLE DAD, YOU ROCK ❤

You're absolutely right. Life gets harder when your choices make it harder. If you want all of your money in your house, you need to keep all your responsibilities in your house. This argument has run its course just like the argument over child support. Who else is supposed to take care of the children you make besides the parents? No to the bah to the deee

The Child, needs Shelter, Food, Clothing, Transportation and etc..

I always believed when an unmarried woman chooses to have a child, she is accepting responsibility regardless of the father's role. It always saddened me that some people view it as a money grab opportunity when it should be about fairness in working together to co-parent and co-support the child. If the father is paying child support, then it is part of the woman's income that she uses to help her provide support to the child which includes housing, food, clothing, etc. We can argue she should not use that money for nail appointments but I always viewed it as part of her income which is incorporated into her budget. However, if the child support is less than 100 then there is nothing to discuss.

The Child Support is for the care/needs for the Child.
The Child, needs: Shelter, Food and Daycare/Babysitting Services. Which includes: If the person drives (transportation, to and from Daycare and Doctors appointments).
Also, clothing, Medical Care and any little incidentals: School Trips and etc.
Also, the other Parent should be WORKING, as well.

Understand this: the bills would be considerably Less if there was no child. Children are an expense within themselves
OAN: Being married doesnt guarantee anything. There are plenty of divorced ppl & the guy (or woman) isnt being the parent he/she should be once the relationship ends.
