1. The exam has different questions types and each type needs different strategies
2. Blindly follow the strategies
3. Read each passage and identify the main ideas
4. Read the passage first and make your own headings for each and then match the headings later
5. Spend time practicing on learning the strategies
6. Reading the text first can make you very confused
7. Take note of how much time you spend per section
8. Complete the first 2 sections quickly so you have more times for the last section

I’m glad I came across this video before my exam. I tried different strategies from other videos and I find this one as the most effective. I got the score that I needed on my first attempt. You are right, reading without understanding is a waste of time. Reading each passage and writing your own idea for each really saved my time and it made my skimming strategy easier because I know where to look for answers.
