IKEA. As I recall hearing about it the founder had nazi sympathies, but he soon put it behind him.
I also learned that it came to light IKEA had an account to which departments would contribute money. And it turns out it was not a secret account for him, but an account to hold funds to keep IKEA going through the toughest hardships and keep alive. For someone who lived through the time of the second world war that is just good prep. How many people have an account for savings and enough savings that will enable them to endure hard times and set backs. Not everyone can say so. Do you at all times have enough money to instantly replace an appliance in your household ?, how about replacing two ? Replace your primary means of transport ? Repair damages on your house / property ? Not everyone can say so. But that founder thought hard about his responsibility of leading a company. And my sweetest memory of him is declaring that umbrellas are 20 kroner and on rainy days they are half price. I rarely go to IKEA, but when I do I think of him.

It's not just that bad people are the heads of companies, it's that the systems we live under make it so that mostly bad people become rich(except some artists and such who do not need to expoikt every extra dollar they make our of another human). Every dollar a ceo makes is making it harder for a single mom to pay rent.
