How to Plant and Maintain Your Soybean Farm 2022! A to Z Guide

Soybean has an average protein content of 40% and is more protein-rich
than any of the common vegetable or animal food sources found in
Nigeria. This is why soybean is essential to us at Stable Rock Farms. We depend on it to provide the needed proteins for our livestock. We are targeting a little under 100 tonnes this coming farming season.

Why soybean is important
• It is suitable for food, e.g. soy milk, soy flour, soy-cheese, infant weaning food.
• It is an excellent livestock feed.
• It is the source of an excellent (cholesterol-free) vegetable oil.
• It is used in paper coatings, wood veneer, adhesive
and alkyd resins, printing ink, etc.
• It improves soil fertility and controls Striga (parasitic weed).
• The stalk provide good feed for sheep and goats.

Be careful as most planters in the market cant plant 10cm spacing, as such will reduce your plant population, I used plastic planter last her it does great for maize and bad for soy, best wishes
