I’m going to pin this here, I applied M LUT from motion VFX to my footage I like softer more natural vintage looks that’s my preference and style. I don’t subscribe to the sh*tty over sharpened digital look. Was always a fan of the filmic look

I just got the Air 3s, it's my first drone, and I have ZERO regrets. As a new drone pilot, I so far feel very safe and capable, thanks to the dummy proof features. I am also in love with the image quality we can get at this price range.

Yea I have noticed the OA issues with my 3s.. especially when flying into direct sunlight .. it will slightly shift left or right from flying forward in a straight line as if the Lidar (in bypass mode) thinks there is something in the way.. it’s subtle but definitely noticeable . If I plan to fly in a straight line directly into the sun for video, I switch to sport mode which turns off OA and then I switch back to normal flight mode once I end the video

FYI, I called DJI and asked them about the customs hold deal. They told me that if a person encounters that problem, to call DJI and let them know and they sad they could have it released. They did tell me that at the time I called, they had the Air 3s in stock in the states, so there wouldn't be a problem. As it worked out, I purchased from Adorama, as they also had them in stock, and they came with some extras for the same price. I was able to also purchase DJI Refresh from Adorama too on the same order.

My Mini 4 pro has been held up 2 weeks now in customs. In that time I decided to get the Air3s (off ebay, new in box) and probably sell the mini when it comes.

DJI is lying about the "14 stops" of dynamic range. I had to laugh when I read that on launch day. There is no 1 inch-type sensor on planet Earth that can do that. In fact, 14 stops is hard for even the best on large full frame sensors!!. Going further, a standard (normal contrast) rec709 gamma curve image can only hold 7-8 stops at most. Only a flat Log curve can hold 14 stops. Anyway, ...yeah, you can bet your life that this sensor is nowhere near 14 stops. If it actually captured 10-11 stops of signal-to-noise ratio before 60db) that would be spectacular for a 1 inch-type chip. DJI is pushing it WAY too far on their marketing. LOL

Yes, apparently the A3 batteries work with the A3 S but the difference is you don’t get the smart sleep mode with the A3 batteries
