OE+ builds are amazing!
Smoking the ricers in a stock-ish looking car is the best feeling 😆

I've always loved OEM+ builds since getting into the import scene in the mid-90s, and still love OEM+ builds the most.

Being from Wisconsin. This is one of my favorite channels. WCEC is where I first noticed Alex and his Z it was blue and never was running. It's crazy to see where he is now. This winter, I am building a drift car. You know where I'm getting my parts. Shop local!

Big shout out to the podcast. I do a Ton of driving all week for work, great listening.

Great video here as well! Maybe it's me getting older but I definitely appreciate an oe+ build more and more these days!

I’ve had an 05 Civic for a little over 3 years now and I’ve done an oem+ style build with it so far. I’ve got the car cosmetically where I want it and I’m gonna start performance mods in the fall. I got the car did an engine and transmission swap immediately. Then painted the car and replaced door belt moldings, door window seals, painted all exterior the plastic trim, wiper blades. Flexi dipped the wheels. Salvaged missing pieces I wanted from junkyards and Facebook marketplace. Sourced grills, badges, and emblems from Canada. Refurbished the oem emblems. Fixed all of the issues I had with lights not working around the car. Replaced the lights behind my gauge cluster so the entire cluster lights up bright like day one. Painted my valve cover red. Now I just keep up on detailing her weekly and maintenance.

As of right now I have one of the cleanest EP3 ‘s I have ever seen in person. I’m also biased.

Im hoping to buy a new daily, a Lancer Sportsback GSR (2.4L manual). My plan for it is to keep things simple for the next few years if i get it seeing i have the the Lancer Ralliart as the weekend/project car.
But plan is, take the useful parts off my current daily, get Rota MXR-F wheels, install lower springs (off current daily) and do any suspension work that is needed and keep it as a cruiser. When i do the turbo upgrade on the Ralliart, recycle the parts from that to the Sportback a year or two later.

My exhaust aftermarket would cost me $3, 000. X pipe and top speed exhaust w/install fees
