Biden cheers $1-trillion bill: “Finally, infrastructure week!”

The $1-trillion infrastructure bill passed through Congress on Friday night is a "once in a generation" investment that will create millions of jobs, U.S. President Joe Biden said Saturday morning.

"Finally, infrastructure week," Biden said, opening his remarks at the White House with a chuckle. "I’m so happy to say that - infrastructure week!"

The president called it a "once-in-a-generation investment that's gonna create millions of jobs, modernize our infrastructure, our roads, our bridges, our broadband, a whole range of things, to turn the climate crisis into an opportunity."

He also said it puts the U.S. on a path to win the economic competition of the 21st century.
