BEFORE you mix black and white fabrics together, pre wash the ENTIRE piece of the black fabric, hand wash with soap in HOT water to see if the dye bleeds. I always recommend handwashing the fabric in your kitchen, or bathroom sink, or a large bowl so you can see thoroughly if the fabric is going to bleed. if it bleeds even a little bit and especially a lot, I would NOT mix it with white fabric. Black and white fabrics. blended together is so beautiful and elegant. It’s all fun and games until you get ready to wash it. That’s when the fun starts! These are just suggestions for me Personally, I do not like to dry clean my clothes, unless I absolutely have to, you could always use Woolite in cold water to hand wash some of your delicate items, then air dry, NO DRYER! usually the result, when that black fabric bleeds onto the white, the white fabric will look dull, and then you have ruined the garment
