This is probably the single best video for laying out the case and historicity of iconography. Great work guys!

Was raised in an iconoclast culture, the Orthodox Church is my hospital. It took me some time, but now I can't imagine life without a window to the divine.

Hey, i'm a Brazilian orthodox, thank you for asking for prayers in the end on the video! We really need it, there are faithful people that need to travel over 2 hours for the nearest church!

I'm extremely happy I stopped my iconoclasm, humbled myself, and entered into the Orthodox Church.

This channel was crucial in my inquiry and Catechism in the Orthodox Church. I love your channel and I just wanted to say thank you. Partly due to your educational content, I was baptized into the Church on November 9, 2024, feast day of Saint Nektarios on the new calendar. Glory to God for our artists

I went to for first Divine Liturgy this past Sunday. Seeing all the icons on the walls actually everywhere made me feel powerful in the context of If God is for us, who is against us?. I’m still learning and this is the information I needed, thank you.

It took me a while to let go of my iconoclasm. This will definitely help many inquirers get through this.

I think this has become the video on iconography. It includes so many historical evidences and is aimed at the veneration of the iconography and not just the existence of icons. Great job!

As a Christian, with Jewish heritage, who is an artist and interested in Orthodoxy but have hang-ups around icons and prayer to the saints, this video is SO awesome to see, thank you. While I have been contemplating this stuff lately, I realized that I indeed have a mezuzah which I “venerate” to remember the power of God. It made me rethink the act of kissing icons. Prostrating during prayer is obviously no problem but prostrating TO an icon and praying to saints however, I still don’t fully understand. God bless 🕊️

Last year I was in Corfu where there are both Orthodox and Catholic churches. While both beautiful in their own right, the Catholic church felt like a "museum" while the Orthodox felt like a true place of worship
