Another season of newly married couples posting on Facebook has flown by once again, and as expected the drama did not disappoint. We have cake smashes, grooms with unclassy vows, and wedding guests acting like they should be the center. I mean in this age of filming strangers and posting everything we do on social media, it’s no surprise we have a wedding makeup artist on tiktok who thinks She’s The Main Character #edvasian

I don't care what victim card she pulls. she overstayed her welcome, she was asked and paid to stay for 2 hours for touch ups. after that she should have left WITH her team. the fact that her team left without her says a lot. girl.... you were paid for the makeup and 2 hour touch up why are you staying UNPAID....

And she still uploaded the videos. After being kicked out. Sis got cheated on, lost her marbles when she attached herself to her job and blurred the lines. The wedding party wasn't meant to be her therapy.

She also interrupted an important part of the Jewish ceremony called the Yichaud, when the bride and groom are allowed to be completely alone together for the first time together after the marriage ceremony. They were in the bridal suite and she barged in to retrieve her brush and bag.

She lacks boundaries, plain and simple, bringing good energy and making people laugh when she primarily works weddings is great, and she’s obviously good at her job as a makeup artist, but being a professional bringing good energy to a celebratory event and thinking that you and the bride are besties for the day are two different things; she isn’t beyond redemption, but she needs to take a hard look at the situation and understand where she went wrong, those are life lessons about professionalism

A few months before the wedding my husband and I spontaneously brought up how fucking gross we both thought cake smashing was. At our wedding, he was SO careful feeding me my forkful of cake. It's been sixteen years of besties with benefits and that respect is a huge part of it. 🤘
