It’s not actually the game who is breaking the cards it’s a hardware mistake that makes this possible that’s why just the EVGA cards get roasted.

For anyone curious No it is not the games fault necessarily what is happening is EVGA and potentially gigabyte have cut corners and do not have a power limiter so what happens is when game is actively rendering a scene and your GPU says it has no cap to the amount of power it can take in you are going to have a problems it's weird the game is being blamed instead of the these companies producing $1, 700+ GPU's for cutting corners

Its not a bug from game side instead its a design flaw of the 3090. You can watch video made by "Actually Hardcore Overclocking" where he explained the possible issues indepth because he knows how the power delivery, etc works on gpu.

EVGA cheaped out on the capacitors on the RTX 30 series cards. the founder edition cards use 4 of the better quality capacitors, EVGA only uses 1, and then 3 cheaper capacitors.

There seems to be a lot of problems with the High End RTX cards since is first release. We shouldn’t have to worry about our very expensive GPU’s while playing at high settings 🤨

Im pretty sure Evga had problems with their 30 series gpu’s so they have like an aio cooler for it on their website. The only problem is, the last time I saw it, it was out of stock 🤣

I game on a Alienware Aurora 11, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090: My computer has ran New World perfectly fine. Never had issues while playing 146 hours, sometimes 12 hours straight and the computer being on for up to 19 hours straight with no heat issues.
