I think the first trailer was to show how silly and funny the movie will be at times during the movie, and this trailer gave us the idea of what will be happening in this movie that causes the iconic rivalry between Optimus Prime and Megatron.

Have you ever watched Transformers Prime? I think you'd like that it has the original Optimus and Megatron voice actors, Peter Cullen and Frank Welker and it's like an animated version of the Bayverse only better and with a lot of G1 references thrown in.
