My family moved from Colombia to Queens, after college I plan on moving back! Love the diversity and working class life style, Queens is the best representation of what hard working New Yorkers are supposed to be like

For everyone talking about her accent, that’s what diversity is people. Many Queens natives have accents because they come from immigrant families and such. Duh!

I'm born in Manhattan, grew up in Queens. But I have a Bronx attitude, go figure! Hey I'm walkin' here, I'm talkin' here, fuggedaboudit. Went to grade school at P.S. 152 in Woodside, and Gwendoline N. Alleyne was the principal while I attended that school. Now the place is named after her. My brush with greatness. Also, Paul Simon was in the hospital while my older sister was a volunteer (candy striper). She invited him home for dinner, and he played "Mrs Robinson" on my guitar before it was a hit record.

I’ve been to Queens many years ago. Flushing to be exact. Was only there for a very short time. I want to visit again as well as all of New York City. I love your channel.
