YouTube Will Now Wants to Show You Ads When You Pause Videos

YouTube officially announced the concept of paused video ads in May 2024, introducing a new approach to display advertisements during video pausing, primarily on connected TV platforms. When a YouTube video is paused, an ad will appear next to the shrunken video.

(Why can’t YouTube stop making these updates and focus more important stuff on their site instead of playing around with these terrible updates! God damn!)
