The most wonderful time of year, Extermination Day.

Story: Heaven, though originally hesitant when instituting the exterminations, has since embraced the slaughter. While there is a segment that protests against it, citing forgiveness and redemption as an alternative, a much louder crowd shouts otherwise. There are too many people in Heaven that died before it was time and they have a craving for divine retribution. These winners see the Exorcist Angels as heroes and Extermination Day is openly celebrated. None of this is ever kept a secret, after all, the prevailing view is that Heaven is doing nothing wrong. If you are doing nothing wrong, then you have nothing to hide. Sinners are in Hell for a reason so why feel guilty?
Similar to IMP, winners can request the Exorcists to target specific sinners. And like CHERUB, the Exorcists don't charge a fee for this. They'll do their best to land a fatality on a winner’s behalf and if they are unable to, well there is always next year. Millions die every day, there is always a backlog to go through. Thankfully, Vaggie takes care of all of that bureaucratic stuff and really helps keep the team together. But you can't underestimate her, she is the 2nd in command for a reason.
As for Abel, the whole ordeal made him into an icon among winners. Too many people relate to his circumstances and have no problem supporting the exterminating cause. In a sense, he became their patron saint, beloved by all and no one can fault his logic because who is brave enough to tell a victim “no, don't take your power back from those that stole it from you”?
Enter Adam. Though a part of him feels scummy for thinking about redemption knowing exactly what sinners have done to winners, including his own son, he puts aside his conflicting feelings because he wants to save all of his kids. He eventually found courage to really take a stand in favor of redemption. Now, the only thing he dreads at the moment is explaining it to his son. All he has to do is maneuver through the crowd and get that meeting over with.

This idea won the poll and here it is. Yes, it's a prequel to my previous video. And wow, I can't draw sheep lol. That, and I really tried to push more of my limits and did my best to be more dynamic to spice things up. Albeit with mixed results :/. My poor tablet could barely handle editing this, hence some interesting editing choices. And I've been binging too many metal covers. If you're new to my AU, watching my previous video is needed to get a better idea of the story. Everyone is guessing a lot of things right with my AU so stay tuned to see if you were right too ;)

p.s. in case you missed it, this headcanon does have biblical accuracy. The Book of Enoch says Abel judges souls in the afterlife and wants to destroy Cain’s descendants. I trust Wikipedia lol.
