How it completely changed my *introverted* life?

How blogging was THE springboard for being able to live the cozy pajama lifestyle. But is it still worth pursuing in 2024 and beyond?

I created my first and only personal blog back in 2006 and it lasted 12 years. From the third year on, it was a slow and painful death, the interactions comments and visits went down to literally zero in the last three years. I had to take it out of its misery in 2018. The fact that we know about your blog from a Youtube video and not from the blog itself says a lot about blogging nowadays.

Love the romanticized version you portrayed. The ugly truth is starting a blog in 2023 and actually making money from it is HARD! Anyone who believes otherwise will have a rude awakening. Starting a blog in 2018 is NOT the same as starting a blog in 2023.

I started a “lifestyle” blog with the typical categories beauty, home & garden, food & drinks etc. How would I go about IG? Like I don’t want to dress up and take photos of myself to post….not trying to be a lifestyle IG creator basically. Do I just share my blog post photo or related photo and write the excerpt with the CTA to check out the new post? Im clueless on that part.

I started a blog in 2018 but became SO lazy with it unfortunately and stopped posting altogether...even though I'm still paying to have my site up year after year. I'm definitely more on the introverted side, which is why I found comfort in the idea of becoming a successful blogger. Really wanting to dive back into it and finally give it 100% effort this time, plus make all of the money spent actually worth it!

Blogging is someone with enough patience for slow results in terms of generating visibility and organic traffic, but if you use the right tools for proper SEO, such as Moz, Ahrefs, and BlogHandy, to analyze and maintain your blogs without much knowledge about coding or SEO. Your results can be satisfactory :)
