Mahindra Scorpio Classic : A Classic case | Gagan Choudhary

Namaste, Mahindra and Mahindra has launched their new Scorpio classic recently. Mahindra Scorpio Classic is nothing but same old Scorpio with some mechanical changes. However, does it makes any sense to buy this car in 2022? Especially when the tech and design are so old? Well the answer gets little more complicated when you factor in the emotional quotient.

I bought the Scorpio (black colour) in 2011 and it has been the most uncomfortable car that I have ever driven in my entire life (I've owned 5 cars till now and driven about 100) till date.
However, whenever I go out of town or for picnics in jungles, or even in city, if I see it parked from a distance, I fall in love with my own car's looks each and every time. It has been 11 years plus now and yet I can't part with it. I don't think I will ever sell it away.
You are right Gagan, there are some things that are beyond logic. One of them is ❤

My father owned scorpio back in 2011 . I was just 5-6 year. Now due to less usage he sold it (44000 km in 11years)and purchased Tigor icng. Now just after 2 months we are planning new Scorpio Classic. It's just because of comfortable and ride quality. I know car enthusiast won't agree, but we loved it. I cant say whats that feel in sitting inside Scorpio.Simply Once you had/have Scorpio you can never hate it for any reason. Emotion h yaar iscarpio💞🤘

Scorpio is not a car it’s an emotion
Had bought Scorpio VLX in 2011 drove it 2.25 lakh sold and bought Scorpio S11 BS6 (I also had a XUV 500 W10 which in terms of comfort is unmatchable)
Never had any issue in the old Scorpio and new Too (harshly drove the new one 73k km in 2 yrs)
Even after have so many practicality issue once you drive Scorpio you just cannot hate it
Every single time you look at it you will fall in love with it

I guess every car enthusiast has owned or driven the Scorpio once in his life. Today Scorpio is outdated and unsafe car but still many people have beautiful memories of their past experiences with Scorpio.

I was not a admirer of Scorpio till I got the opportunity to drive it around 80000 km in Himachal. In such terrains and on zigzag roads of hills it gives you that confidence that you can go anywhere! Nothing can stop it!

We had a 2008 model Scorpio, sold it and bought a Creta. But damn, couldn't get the amazing feel that Scorpio gave. So, went ahead and bought a new Scorpio 6 months later! Haven't regretted since then.
