Great releases this month definitely, was waiting for the Avantasia album a lot, very rocky! I enjoy so much the diversity on Avantasia albums (faster, heavier, rockier, etc). I am looking forward to also seeing Majestica on the road, their sound is epic!

I agree with Avantasia, I enjoyed it the most as well! I just love Tobi's voice and the singers he chose for this album! Majestica was a fun album as well and felt like a greatest hits of power metal sort of. Mantric Momentum and Arion were also standouts for me this month. But Avantasia was the one that I just wanted to go back to and I had a different song in my head every day...that is the sign of a good album!

Some exciting releases this month. The 7th Guild absolutely blew me a away, and was the standout for me. The albums from Majestica, Avantasia and Dynazty were all really good in my opinion, but I don't think any of them represented the bands at the peak of their powers. Such a great month! I have bought Majestica, The 7th Guild and Avantasia.
Majesticas album is great. The production is fantastic and songs like Power Train, No Pain No Gain(although the hook is copied from Bloodbound Rise Of The Dragon Empire), My Epic Dragon, Victorious and Alliance Anthem are absolutly fantastic! But the album is a little bit short imo and Megatrue isn't my cup of tea and Thunder Power is a filler.
I was dissapointed with Here Be Dragons after my first listen. But after a few Spins, it gets much better. The songs per se are good. Especially The Witch, Bring On The Night, Against The Wind, Return To The Opera and especially The Moorland At Twilight... what a pre hook, what a chorus and Kiske!!
But yeah, the songs aren't the Problem but the lack of a concept. It feels, like Moonflower Society more like a mixtape or Spotify playlist than a big album. That there isn't one song with more than one guest singer doesn't help. Also, the production is very strang imo.
The album definitely is better than Moonflower Society and Angel Of Babylon but can't measure up with Moonglow, The Mystery Of Time or Ghostlights.
My favourite album has to be 7Th Guild which reminds me more of The Metal Operas than Here Be Dragons! So many beautiful melodies, very good production and the symphonic elements are also great.
